The Simplest Way To Make Money Online

Build Your Community, Monetize Your Passion, and Compete for Big Rewards!

Join the thousands of others building profitable online communities with the Skool Games. It’s fun, risk-free, and packed with training that others charge thousands for—get started today!

Basically, a Skool group consists of four main features:

  1. Community
  2. Classroom
  3. Calendar
  4. Gamification

Within the community people can engage with each other via posts, likes, comments and direct chat messages:

In the classroom your customers can learn by following your courses/training programs…

Via the calendar you can schedule online and offline events such as recurring calls, webinars and meetups for you and your members…

Gamification awards points to members for each ‘like’ they get on their posts/comments. Reach a certain amount of points and you ‘level up’. Rewards can be linked to each level to boost engagement. Leaderboards show the most active members and rewards for each level…

The community of a Skool group looks like this:

It’s a clean interface, where you can pretty much do two things:

  1. Post something yourself.
  2. Read and engage with posts of other members.

(more later on the types of posts you can do in a Skool community)

Here’s a screenshot of your average Facebook group:

They look similar and you can post/engage with other people’s posts in a Facebook group too.

But on Facebook, there’s always so much going on.

Visiting Facebook and navigating to your group feels like navigating through a busy shopping street.

Something or someone is always fighting for your attention.

Posting in a Skool community

Both members and admins can post in a Skool community

You can attach files, images, GIFs and videos (YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Wistia, or Bunny.net) to your post. It’s possible to run polls too.

When posting something, you do so in a specific category.

This helps to keep posts organized. Your members can easily view posts by category via pill menu and use the filter button to sort posts, which is handy for finding specific information quickly.

User profiles, chat and notifications

Each community member also has a public profile page:

On a profile page you can see:

  • All community activity of that person, like what they posted and when, and what they commented on posts by other people
  • Groups created by this person (can be hidden on group level)
  • Groups they are a member of (can be hidden on group level)

Following someone means you get notified whenever that person posts.

Besides that, you can start a 1-on-1 chat (there currently is no group chat feature).

The Simplest Way To Make Money Online

In this video, I’m going to reveal a simple five-step process with examples on how you can make 3K per month or more in the skincare niche and your Skool community.

Once you identify and realize that this same five-step process is the process that everybody uses to make money online, you’ll be able to implement it and do it too.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at a few examples.

Before we get started, let’s go ahead and type in “skincare” over in Skool.

You can see that this one has 556 members, and they’re charging just $5 per month.

This person here has created a space for anyone interested in Korea, studying abroad, skincare, makeup, and finding a supportive community.

They have 353 members at $2 per month.

This is a paid private community charging $19 per month.

You can see over and over again that people are making pretty good money simply in the skincare niche.

I want to show you how to do it step by step.

The first thing that you have to do is pick a niche and niche down.

We know that you want to focus on skincare, but skincare itself is a multi-billion dollar industry.

You’ll need to niche down even further to talk to a very targeted group of people.

For example, there are daily skincare routines and different skin types—maybe oily skin or patchy skin.

There are also skin concerns and different skincare ingredients—maybe you’re focusing on organic ingredients or those that don’t require testing on live animals.

I urge you to pick a niche and niche down.

I know that we’re all multifaceted individuals with lots of ideas.

If you want to be successful on the internet, start with a niche first.

As you gain a following, you can branch out and build a larger audience.

It’s really important to pick a niche and stay focused.

Once you’ve identified your niche and niched down, the second step is to get attention.

You need to identify how you’re going to attract people to you.

If you don’t get attention, you will not make money.

The second most important thing is to get attention.

There are two types of attention: free attention and paid attention.

The benefit of free attention is that the only cost is your time.

You are simply going to create content on organic platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.

You’ll create content to attract people interested in your niche.

The drawback of free attention is that it takes time.

You won’t spend money, but it can require a lot of time to gain traction and build a community.

This is where paid attention comes in.

Paid attention is great because you can skip to the front of the line.

Think about it like a Disney FastPass.

If you have money, you can jump to the front of the line and speak directly to people interested in your niche.

The drawback of paid attention is that it’s going to cost money.

You’re probably going to lose money in the beginning until you figure out what works.

Eventually, you can break even and start making money.

I recommend deciding whether to use free or paid attention.

Inside of each option, choose the platform you’re going to use.

This decision will have a huge impact on everything else that you do.

In the very beginning, pick one platform.

There are billions of people on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook.

You don’t have to be everywhere to get attention.

In your first 30 days, pick one platform and focus on it.

After deciding how to get attention, the next step is to create content.

The type of content you create depends on the type of attention you’re going for.

If you’re using an older platform like YouTube, Pinterest, or a blog, you’ll create search-engine-optimized (SEO) content.

You’ll find the keywords your target audience is searching for and create content based on those keywords.

For example, if you go to YouTube and type in “skincare routines,” you’ll find searches for dry skin, oily skin, skincare for men, and even skincare for specific ages like 10-year-olds or 12-year-olds.

This is called search engine marketing or search-engine-optimized content.

SEO and educational content work great for older platforms.

If you’re using a newer platform like TikTok or Instagram Reels, focus on results and personal branding.

Results-oriented content might show how someone improved their skin in three weeks.

Personal branding involves sharing your journey of going from poor skin to great skin.

These types of content perform well on social media.

The only way to know which content to create is to decide on the type of attention you’re going for.

It’s very important to be consistent and persistent when creating content.

Consistency will help you gain traction.

If you decide to go the paid route, I still recommend testing your ideas with free methods.

Whatever works for free will often work even better for paid advertising.

For example, if a TikTok post gets lots of views, likes, and shares organically, you can turn it into an ad and grow faster.

After creating content, you need to funnel people in a specific direction.

One common mistake is creating content without knowing where to send people.

For example, someone might create TikTok content but fail to funnel viewers anywhere, leading to missed opportunities for making money.

Instead, I recommend one of several strategies.

You can funnel people from paid ads to a paid Skool community.

This approach works well, but you might lose money initially while figuring out the right way to reach your audience.

You can create free or paid content and direct people to a landing page for email marketing.

Offer a free lead magnet like a “30-Minute Skincare Routine for Better Skin in 30 Days” to collect their name and email.

Follow up with email marketing to send them to a paid community.

Another option is to create content leading to a free Skool community and then upgrade members to a paid Skool community.

This method works but comes with costs, as each Skool community is $99 per month.

Alternatively, you can create content and direct people straight to a paid Skool community.

You could also use free content to build a Facebook group and then upgrade members to a paid Skool community.

Each method works, so decide which one to pursue and go all in.

Finally, you might ask, “How do I actually make money with this?”

There are several ways to monetize these methods.

You can create a monthly membership, either high-ticket or low-ticket.

The higher the price, the bigger the problem you need to solve.

For example, you could charge more for a complete body makeover instead of just helping with blocked pores.

You can invite people to a private Skool community as a bonus when they buy a product or service.

You can sell individual courses within your Skool community.

You can also host paid workshops or webinars.

Your Skool community can help you get course ideas, feedback, and testimonials.

Testimonials are particularly valuable because they come from others, not just you.

Hopefully, you see the opportunity to make money with Skool, especially in the skincare niche.
